Description

Talk with Emily Bennington

The Gifts of God is a collection of inspired poetry by Helen Schucman, scribe of A Course in Miracles. While students are often familiar with the three main volumes of the Course (Text, Workbook, and Manual) as well as its two supplements (Psychotherapy and Song of Prayer), The Gifts of God remains somewhat of a hidden gem. And yet, within its pages is a wealth of teachings that beautifully underscore some of the Course’s most profound insights.

In this talk, Emily Bennington will walk you through a selection of Helen’s poems and share the corresponding lessons from the Course itself. Topics we will cover include healing, the nature of reality, forgiveness, miracles, Jesus, our true identity, God’s love and more. You will not only learn how to unlock the wisdom within each poem but, through exercises, meditation and discussion, learn how to embody and apply it.

Emily Bennington Perry is executive director of the Circle of Atonement where she is responsible for all aspects of advancing the mission. Her dedication to A Course in Miracles comes from the extraordinary changes in her own life as a result of applying its teachings. Prior to joining the Circle, Emily led training programmes on spiritual intelligence and mindful leadership for numerous Fortune 500 companies. She is also the author of three books, including Miracles at Work: Turning Inner Guidance into Outer Influence, which features a foreword by her friend Marianne Williamson. circleofa.org
