A Course in Miracles has over 500,000 words. AI can sort through and deliver perspectives on almost any topic in a few seconds. In addition, AI can cross-reference verses from the Bible and other spiritual texts to provide combined perspectives.
In this brave new world, this brings up a number of questions:
– What does the ability of AI to interpret ACIM messages at light speed tell us about our own learning process?
– What is different about a person learning in ACIM versus an AI agent?~
– What is the role of traditional ACIM teachers?
– What does this show us about what/who we really are?
– What is the best way to integrate AI as an ACIM student?
This and other topics will be explored in this interactive session.
Ken Gorman has been an A Course in Miracles student for more than 30 years. He is a trustee and Minister at the Pathways of Light. He lives in London and runs the Pathways of Light UK, which holds a Sunday service as a tele-conference call, from 9 to10am. www.pathwaysoflight.org/uk/events. He was a trustee of Miracle Network for nearly 5 years, between 2014 and 2018. As well as A Course in Miracles, Ken has a background in Budhism, Sufism and integrates this wealth of experience into his teaching.
