Another Way to Understand Forgiveness
I began practicing forgiveness by bringing all my problems to the Holy Spirit. After a while, my trust increased to include everything that brought me unhappiness. Eventually, I realised that I was dumping my whole life on Jesus’ doorstep, ringing his doorbell and, then, running away. Finally, I trusted enough to wait a holy instant for Jesus to open the door… and a holy new phase of forgiveness began: noticing and allowing.
Noticing and allowing streamlines the forgiveness practice. Your “little willingness” dissolves guilt and unconscious resistance, resulting in the miracle of healing the split mind. Let’s practice together.
Amy Torres has a background as a Gestalt psychotherapy, with training in bodywork, somatic infant development, heart rhythm meditation, and as a yoga instructor, makes her uniquely qualified to take an experiential approach to A Course in Miracles.
