I Choose Love

Talk with Lia Steinson... and more...

Miracle Cafe, Kensington

Our hearts yearn for the experience of Divine love, oneness and the end of separation - but do we search in the wrong place: in endless words and more teachings, more information?

Thursday 31st March 2016, 7 - 9.30pm (doors open 6.45pm)

Awakening to Our Natural State

Talk by Francis Bennett... and more...

Miracle Cafe, Kensington

Awakening, or enlightenment, is no cure all! Even a spiritual teaching or practice, such as A Course in Miracles, that points us to a direct realisationof the absolute, will not necessarily adequately address all our issues on all the levels of body, mind and spirit. If we have issues that we need to deal with before awakening, we will still have to deal with them after. Some of them may be resolved or partially resolved upon awakening ...but not all of them will be.

Thursday 28th April 2016, 7 - 9.30pm

A Very Simple Course?

Talk by Anna Powell... and more...

Miracle Cafe, Kensington

The Course keeps telling us how simple it is: The lessons are simple, salvation is simple, your part in it is simple. “God's teachers have learned how to be simple” (M4 VI).

So why do we find the Course difficult? Why does it take more than 1,500 pages in convoluted sentences and a mind-boggling metaphysics, to teach us 'how to be simple'?

Thursday 26th May 2016, 7 - 9.30pm (doors open 6.45pm)

Opening our Hearts to ACIM

Talk by Peggy-Jane Rogers... and more...

Miracle Cafe, Kensington

A Course in Miracles has many complex sentences in it and, when we first come across it, we inevitably try and puzzle it out using our intellectual mind. But our intellect can only take us so far on the road from fear to love.

Peggy-Jane will lead us through some gentle exercises and short meditations designed to open us to hear the divine love that is at the heart of the Course – "Instead of words, we need but feel His love". (W 399)
