Lessons of the Holy Spirit

Talk by Ian Patrick... and more...

Miracle Cafe, Covent Garden

What is it like to lose your way in the world, then to come home? What is it like to ignore Guidance and, then, to follow it? Ian Patrick will give a candid account of his life, influences and what led him to the spiritual path, to A Course in Miracles and, eventually, to founding the Miracle Network in 1994. He will reflect on what he sees as the unseen Intelligence behind what transpired, the greater Plan, of which he was unaware and, seemingly, ill-prepared.

Leading the Way With Love

Talk by Nick Williams... and more...

Miracle Cafe, Covent Garden

There is a call for a new style of leadership, not based on judgment or condemnation, but on love and inspiration. It is a leadership we can all embrace, because we are all powerful spiritual beings. We don't need a position, or to be anointed or appointed: we can just choose to offer leadership, understanding that every act of love and inspiration is an act of leadership.

Peace Is What We Are

Retreat day led by kironJ Gardner

Essex (Unitarian) Church, 112 Palace Gardens Terrace, London W8 4RT

This retreat day offers a deep and sacred contemplation on Peace. It is an invitation to come away from our daily circumstances, and give attention to the truth of ourselves. We will look at fundamental aspects of Peace as taught by A Course in Miracles, and explore our relationship with it through group interactions and sharing. Silence and opening to the presence of the Holy Spirit will be a significant part of this opportunity to help each other remember that we are perfect peace itself. All are welcome; no familiarity with ACIM is required.

You may choose to try a few simple yoga stretches, which Ruth will demonstrate and which can have an effect on both our energy levels and attitude. Often, we are so focussed on what we want to happen we miss the lessons and blessings found in what is happening. Our resistance causes us stress and suffering. Yet every apparent holdup or disadvantage can show us incredib

Remembering Who You Are

Talk by Elloa Atkinson... and more...

Miracle Cafe, Covent Garden

"Teach only love, for that is what you are." These words from ACIM present a beautiful invitation — to be a heart-led leader in a world in need of a soft place to land — and, yet, herein lies the crux of the human dilemma: We have forgotten who we really are. In our state of forgetfulness we experience a deep sense of disconnection from ourselves, each other and God, often becoming plagued by fear and shame, caught between the complex thought system of the ego and the simple, tender call of the heart. How, exactly, can we live defenceless, trusting liv
