One of the repeating themes of A Course in Miracles®
speaks of choice. The Course tells us that, at all times, we have a choice
between love and fear -- between thinking with love, or coming from fear. It
encourages us to switch from the thought system of the ego (based on fear,
separation, scarcity, guilt and attack) to the thought system of the Holy Spirit
(based on love, Oneness, wholeness, innocence and abundance).
But... how often do actually we do that? And how do we do it, in a practical
sense? What is it that stops us from doing it? And what are the benefits of
choosing love?
This is the subject of this year's Miracle Experience Weekend, or conference. We
intend that, as a participant at the weekend, you will not only have a chance to
experience miracles, or shifts in perception, but will learn practical tools
that you can take away and use in your everyday life, to enable you to choose
love ongoingly.

Feedback:
"The weekend was absolutely amazing. I can't think of any way it could be
improved. The quality and variety of the content was spot-on. The organisation
was exemplary. Thank you. I got so much out of it."
Nick Smith, Rotherham, S. Yorks
"Thank you so much for the miraculous conference. I felt totally loved and held throughout it, thanks to your care and attention to detail such as chocolates and angel cards, helpful helpers
-- quite apart from the inspirational speakers. I found Jason Chan just amazing
-- such a gift of love through movement. Thank you, thank you, thank you all."
Frances Crampton, Aldington, Kent
"I wanted to email to say a huge thank you for an absolutely fabulous weekend. What struck me was the magnitude of the 'experience' that I gained. It has deepened my experience of love and seems to have dissolved so much resistance. The speakers were truly inspirational and I am very grateful to them all. I would love to see a conference like this taking place every year in the UK
-- it is such a motivational and inspirational event to aid students in their endeavours to deepen their practice. Thank you to all the organisers, too
-- they did a fabulous job of making everyone feel very welcome."
Yvette Richards, Camberley, Surrey
"I just wanted to say thanks for a brilliant 'choosing love' conference. I was quite blown away by Miranda's talk on Sunday."
Sian Evans, Crewe, Cheshire
"What a wonderful conference. I so enjoyed it. It was such a privilege to be a part of the team of speakers
-- what a treasure. And the whole event was organized so well and ran so smoothly. I know how much work must have gone into that, so all I can say is wow! Well done. Your work, your efforts and your love are so appreciated. And it is you who have continuously brought this all together. I was sorry it when it was over."
Arielle Essex, London SW11
"An absolutely wonderful, beautiful conference weekend. Blessings to you for organising it. Genius!"
Nicky Love, Newton Abbot, Devon
"Thank you, thank you and your team for a wonderful weekend. Again and again I found myself in tears throughout the conference. I tried to stifle them and often hardly could. This morning I woke up weeping. As I asked myself what it meant. It reminded me of training I had in the late 1970s called Re-evaluation Co-counselling. One attended training with one's partner and learned, in a nutshell, to validate (love) each other to the point where toxic patterns of distress stored in the body/mind (i.e., the blocks to love and creativity) would spontaneously begin to break up and melt away, and then you would simply allow each other to discharge the pent up distress, encourage the tears to flow, until there were no more, and the block would be gone. The conference leaders and the melting atmosphere you produced were so
loving that, again and again, this is what was happening to me. Such tears are healing."
Phil Gould, Hythe, Kent
"Thank you, Ian, for heading up such a wonderful Conference. It was such a great experience for me and I feel like I have met new friends and family. An amazing and enlightening event.
You are a star or should I say, the One!"
Evie Prior, London SW14
"Thank you to everyone for a superb weekend. This was the best
organised, most friendly, welcoming, fun and essential weekend conference that I
can remember going to. I am new to ACIM® (14 months) -- thank you for the
welcome."
John Baxter, Stafford
"It was a truly precious time, and one that I will remember for ever. We all took a stand for love
-- in this crazy old world -- and it was beautiful."
Robert Holden, London W4
"A big congratulations and thank you for organizing and creating such a stupendous conference! I had a fantastic time and was deeply touched by it."
Sarita Premley, London SE18
"A huge thank you for organizing such a wonderful Miracle Conference. It was outstanding. My husband, daughter and I were just blown away. The presence of love was extraordinary and the atmosphere beautiful. It was one of the best weekends of my life, in fact, and we felt so moved by it all -- moved to make changes in our own consciousness and lives. It has also inspired me to start studying the Course again, to take it seriously this time and do it in a disciplined way, which I have never done before. Thank you, again, for your vision and tenacity in organizing such a beautiful and empowering and uplifting event. We can hardly wait for the next one! And wish it could be twice a year."
Liz Watson, Bournemouth
"I want to say how much I enjoyed the weekend and how successful I thought it was. I found it quite amusing that the ego had his little joke on everyone with the time factor. "Yes, you are really in my world and I control all with time!" Although it was all amazing, for me the highlight was Nick Davis, who so well understands that however much we are all searching and finding the spiritual truth, when you know it (and I believe he does) you realise the whole thing (most of all, ourselves!!) should not be taken too seriously. The Son of God had a bad dream and, effectively, frightened himself! It is all laughable and if we are not full of joy we are not seeing it. The other highlight was the incredible 'my story' feature. Whoever had the idea of people with real life miracle experiences to talk about them with a teacher and 'share' for the good of all, was truly inspired. We were all moved by those experiences. For me, particularly, the lady with the story of being brought up by nuns from the age of two and the forgiveness issues she faced, was truly memorable and moved me to tears."
Jo-Ann Spinks, Guernsey, Channel Islands
"Thank you for a wonderful miracle conference. Thank you for allowing me to practice what I preach: the power of prayer. For all that you do in supporting myself and others, I want to say I am indebted to you."
Lindsay Willcocks, Cookham, Berks
What a dramatic success ‘Choosing Love’ turned out to be. Congratulations to
all who organised it, or who helped in any way. Thank you all for your effort
and dedication.
